Day 1: Buenos Aires

Day 2: Buenos Aires
Breakfast City Tour In the morning, you will be picked up by a local guide and given a tour around the city and its surroundings that will allow you to discover its spirit, its mystique and its charm. The following areas will be visited: Plaza de Mayo, Puerto Madero, La Boca, San Telmo, Palermo, Recoleta Cemetery. Tango Show with Dinner at “El Querandi” Carlos Gardel is recognized as one of the most important singers and actors of the 19th century. Born in France, he came to Argentina as a child. Here he came to fame singing Tango in the many theatres of Buenos Aires. You will enjoy a Gala Dinner show of dance and singing dedicated to this icon whose voice has now been registered by UNESCO.
Day 3 – 5: Uruguay: Colonia & Montevideo
On the other side of the Rio del Plata, is located Colonia. You will take a fast ferry to pass a relaxing day is this small historic town that has been declared of Historical national interest by UNESCO. Founded by the Portuguese in 1680, a visit to this town will take you back in time to this colonial period.
In the evening, you will be transferred by coach to Montevideo where you will spend the next 3 nights with family.
Day 6: Buenos Aires
In the afternoon, you will take the Francisco fast ferry from Montevideo to Buenos Aires.

Day 7 - 9: Ibera Wetlands
Transfer to airport to take flight to Posadas.
Transfer to Aguape Lodge
The Iberá Wetlands are a mix of swamps, bogs, stagnant lakes, lagoons, natural slough and courses of water in the center and center-north of the province of Corrientes Iberá is one of the most important fresh water reservoirs in the continent and the second-largest wetland in the world after Pantanalin Brazill. It is of pluvial origin, with a total area of 15,000–20,000 km2. During the next 3 nights, you will have the pleasure of staying at Aguape Lodge. All meals and activities included.
Aguape Lodge is placed on the coasts of the Iberá lagoon with an overwhelming view to the marshes and the lagoon.
This is a wonderful place to watch unforgettable sunsets or delightful starry skies and discover the fauna hidden on the coast of the lagoon.

Day 10: Santiago
Transfer from Aguape lodge to Posadas airport to take flight to Buenos Aires and take connecting flight to Santiago.

Day 11: Santiago
City tour of Santiago
Travel through the principal streets of Santiago in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan, accompanied by a knowledgeable guide. Pass the Moneda Palace, the current seat of the Government, and absorb its neoclassical splendor before continuing onto the ambient Plaza de Armas to admire the filigreed spire of the Cathedral. Swing by the captivating Museum of National History and marvel at the architectural prowess of the Central Post Office. Next, visit the verdant Parque Forest, a sprawling city park based on the design of Paris’ Champs-Elysees. Enjoy the gorgeous greenery and scattered sculptures before venturing to the bohemian neighborhood of Bellavista, home to resident artists and poets, to admire the street art. Then, ascend to the summit of Saint Lucia hill to admire panoramic vistas of the dramatic Andes mountain range. Conclude your tour with a visit to the handicraft village of Los Graneros de Alba; browse bespoke boutiques for unique souvenirs before returning to your hotel.
Day 12: Valparaiso & Vina del Mar
After hotel pickup, climb aboard your comfortable minivan and begin the journey to the verdant vineyards of the Curacavi and Casablanca valleys. Stop at one of the region’s most successful wine producing wineries and pleasure you palate with the smooth taste of a signature wine. Continue along the curving coastal road until you arrive at the beautiful beach area of Renaca. Sink your toes into the sands then set out to explore the flower filled streets and gorgeous gardens of Vina del Mar; admire the impressive architecture of the Gaming Casino and peruse enthralling exhibitions in the town’s museum. Next, venture to the visionary town of Valparaiso; laden with architectural eccentricities that tumble over a total of 43 hills, the town is considered a UNESCO World heritage site because of its distinct and dazzling beauty. Explore serpentine streets for vibrant street art and ascend to elevated hilltops on traditional funiculars for outstanding ocean views. Visit the Museum of Pablo Neruda to gain insight to the iconic Chilean poets life and work, then return to the minivan and relax during the scenic journey back to Santiago.
Day 13: San Pedro de Atacama
Transfer to airport to take flight to Calama from where we are transfered to San Pedro.

Day 14: Salt Flats & Flamingo National Reserve
Today, we discover the natural splendor of the Atacama Salt Flats on a full-day tour from San Pedro de Atacama. Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, visit the luminescent salt flats of Soncor; observe fabulous flocks of brightly colored flamingos in Los Flamenco National Park; and explore the luscious lagoons of Miscanti and Miniques. Feast upon a traditional Chilean lunch in the charming village of Socaire, and browse the bespoke boutiques of Tocanao for special souvenirs and artisan treasures. After hotel pickup in San Pedro de Atacama, relax during the scenic drive to one of the world’s largest salt flats in an air-conditioned minivan. Arrive at the Chaxa Lagoon, a spectacular section of the Salar de Atacama (Atacama Salt Flats) that lies within the Reserva Nacional Los Flamenocs (The Flamingos National Reserve). Explore the area for approximately an hour, capturing the vibrant color of flamingos on film. Home to a diverse variety of wildlife, you’re sure to spot some fascinating creatures during your stop. Continue on to the Miscanti and Miniques Lagoons, volcanic bodies of water situated at an elevation of 13,780 feet (4,200 meters). Created by the cooling of molten lava, the lagoons provide a visual spectacle with their dramatic landscape and volcanic backdrop; explore the area on foot during a relaxed stop in the area. Next, travel to the provincial village of Socaire to feast upon local specialties inspired by regional produce. Famed for its unrivalled culinary skills, the restaurant provides an appetizer, main course, desert and drink that is sure to pleasure the palate. Revitalized, venture to the village of Toconao; admire the quaint village church and browse the craft shops for artisan treasures before returning to San Pedro de Atacama in your comfortable minivan.
Day 15: El Tatio Geyser Field & Atacama Star Gazing
Today you discover the unearthly geysers of the world’s driest desert on an early morning tour to El Tatio geyser field from San Pedro de Atacama. Gaze in wonder at over 80 spouting shoots of steam as you watch an enchanting sunrise in the desert. Enjoy a traditional breakfast before soothing your bones in the warm waters of natural hot spring. Conclude with a cultural exploration of the provincial village of Machuca on this engaging excursion.
Depart from your hotel before dawn and enjoy the desert sunrise during a scenic 2-hour trip north. Arrive at the geyser field as the sun completes its ascent and casts a spectacular glow over one of the biggest geothermal fields in the world. Explore the field for 2 hours, marveling at the impressive white column of steam that tops each geyser, then disappears as the temperature increases. Capture fantastic photographs then enjoy a light breakfast of fresh ham or cheese sandwiches, a sweet biscuit, fruit juice and tea and coffee. Then, soothe your muscles in the warming waters of a natural hot spring. Plunge into the inviting 95°F (35°C) water to combat the 40°F (5°C) temperature outside; change into your bathing suit then enjoy a relaxing 50 minutes in the pool. After 3 hours of enriching exploration, return to your comfortable minivan and venture to the provincial village of Machuca. Explore the tiny village, consisting of only 10 residents, a wooden church and rustic abodes with thatch roofs, browsing charming artisan stores for bespoke souvenirs. Sample the local specialty of a llama empanada (own expense) then settle into your vehicle for the journey back to San Pedro de Atacama. In the evening, gaze at the sparkling stars of the Atacama Desert with an expert astronomer on a 2.5-hour stargazing tour from San Pedro de Atacama. Visit South America’s largest astronomical observatory and gain insight into the secrets of the night sky; stare at stars through a state-of-the-art telescope, discovering glowering planets invisible to the naked eye; and capture photographs of the moon’s crater covered surfaces. Conclude your magical evening with a steaming cup of cocoa as you digest your newfound cosmological knowledge.
In the evening you venture back to the heart of the Atacama Desert, the driest natural expanse on the planet, to begin uncovering the mysteries of the cosmos. Arrive at South America’s largest public observatory and begin learning how to use to the technologically advanced telescopes; the clear skies and high elevation of the desert make it the ideal place to spot shimmering stars. Listen as your knowledgeable astronomer guide explains constellations of the cosmos, teaching you how to read the intriguing code of the night sky. Follow the direction of a green laser as your guide escorts your attention to stars and planets. Become acquainted with the 10 on-site telescopes then maneuver each one to capture the mind-blowing magnificence of the night sky; spot explosive nebulae in vivid colors; zoom into the rugged craters of the moon’s surface; and marvel at the scattered formations of other galaxies. Re-adjust your telescopes under the guidance of your expert astronomer, who will also answer any questions you have. Conclude your evening with a steaming cup of hot chocolate then relax during the journey to San Pedro de Atacama.

Today we discover the dramatic beauty and rich history of Easter Island on a captivating full-day tour from Hanga Roa. We depart from your Hanga Roa hotel to begin your journey into the heart of Easter Island’s historical legacy. Venture to Ahu Akahanga in an air-conditioned minivan alongside your accomplished archeologist guide; explore the enthralling grounds, visiting the 59-foot (18-meter) platform to discover a dozen moai statues and the reputed burial ground of King Hoto Matu’a. After thorough exploration of the curious scene, follow the curvaceous coastline to Ahu Tongariki, the island’s largest ceremonial site. Marvel at the prominent postures of the 15 maoi sculptures, learning about the violent tsunami that almost destroyed the site in 1960.
