What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?
During our 9 day trip we visited Buenos Aires, Patagonia and Iguazu Falls. While each place was wonderful, our favorite part was the glacier hike in El Calafate in Patagonia. El Calafate was a beautiful small town and the views were unreal. We stayed in a lovely boutique hotel on a hill that overlooked the mountains. The glacier national park was close to town and our day trip to hike the glacier was a day we will never forget.
If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?
The only thing I would change about our trip is I wish we could have stayed longer. I would have loved to stay a few more days in Patagonia. On our first full day in El Calafate, we took a bus three hours to the small town of El Chalten to hike to Mt. Fitz Roy. The town is inside of a national park and is absolutely beautiful. If I were to plan this trop again, I think it would have been nice to spend a day or two in El Chalten to do more hiking and have more time to enjoy the tiny town.
