DAY 1

Welcome to Argentina

Transfer in from Airport to hotel:

A bilingual chauffer will be waiting for you at the airport with your name on a board to take you to the hotel.

 

You will be met by one of our Bilingual staff that will go through your itinerary with you.

 

Evening Tango Class: There is a saying: "It takes one lesson to learn Tango and a lifetime to improve it." An individual Tango Class is provided for you by experienced Tango teachers for you to experience the passion and sensuality of Tango.

 

Dinner at the famous Chiquilín Restaurante

Here you will be able to enjoy the world famous Argentine beef and Malbec Wine.

 

 

DAY 2

City Tour

In the morning, you will be picked up by a local guide and given a tour around the city and its surroundings that will allow you to discover its spirit, its mystique and its charm. The following areas will be visited: Plaza de Mayo, Puerto Madero, La Boca, San Telmo, Palermo, Recoleta Cemetery.

 

Tango Show with Dinner at “El Querandí”

Carlos Gardel is recognized as one of the most important singers and actors of the 19th century. Born in France, he came to Argentina as a child. Here he came to fame singing Tango in the many theatres of Buenos Aires.You will enjoy a Gala Dinner show of dance and singing dedicated to this icon whose voice has now been registered by UNESCO.

 

 

DAY 3

Gaucho Party at the Estancia Santa Susana

Today you will be taken out to the pampas of Buenos Aires to a typical ranch were you will be able to enjoy and gain an insight to the “Gaucho” culture. Gauchos are the famous horsemen (descended from the native Indians and Spanish settlers) who work the ranches of Argentina who have a clearly defined culture that manifests itself through folklore, music, dance and sport.

At the Gaucho party the following activities take place:

Wine and Empanada Reception

Visit to the Estancia museum and Church

Horse and sulky trips

Typical Argentine BBQ with wine

Folklore show with Malambo

DAY 4

Transfer to Airport

Flight to El CALAFATE

EL CALAFATE

Arrival at the airport. Welcome to the town of El Calafate, the gateway to the only advancing Glacier on earth.

You will be met by our English speaking staff and Transfer to your selected Hotel.

 

 

DAY 5

EL CALAFATE

Full day Perito Moreno Glacier Tour

We depart from El Calafate, which borders the southern arm of the Argentine Lake and travel to Los Glaciares National Park (90 km away). An UNESCO World Heritage site since 1981 and home to one of the most awe inspiring landscapes in Argentina). Our bilingual guide will provide you with important facts and  information about the Galcier.
From the nearby walking trails and viewing platform you will have the chance to enjoy stunning views of the glacier and see its surface of 192 km2, its front wall of 5 km long and some of its peaks at 80 metres high. By being so close, you will also be able to hear the majestic sounds and movements of the Glacier and bear witness to its advancements as the deep silence is suddenly interrupted by the tremendous noise of massive shards of ice cracking from the Glacier and collapsing into the Canal de los Tempanos (Icebergs Channel).

 

 

DAY 6

EL CALAFATE

Breakfast at the hotel.  All day at your leisure.

 

Today you have the option of taking one or two of the Optional Tours, a mini –hike upon the Glacier itself (US$165) or take a boat cruise upon Argentino s lake (US$25).

 

 

DAY 7

EL CALAFATE

Breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer to the Airport to board flight to Buenos Aires and then to take connecting flight to Iguazu Falls.

Arrival at the airport. Welcome to the town of Igauzu, this small sleepy town is the gateway to the Mighty Iguazu Falls.

You will be met by our English speaking staff and Transfered to your selected Hotel.

 

 

DAY 8

IGUAZU FALLS

Brazilian Falls tour

In the afternoon, you will be picked up from your hotel and taken across the Argentine –Brazilian border and enter the Iguazu National Park on the Brazil side. Here you will enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the Falls during a walking tour through the passages that connect the different observation points.

Similar to football, the Brazilians and Argentines argue which side has the best view of the Falls. What is clear is that both sides are different and spectacular in their own unique way. You can decide for yourself, which side you are most impressed with.

 

 

DAY 9

IGUAZU FALLS

Argentine Falls Tour

Today you will enjoy a full day tour of the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls. During the tour you will get ‘up, close and intimate’ with views of this unforgettable section of the Iguazu River. Our guide will show you the hidden gems of this unique National Park in the lower and upper walkways and will take you off the beaten path to show you the best views. Trails through the 210 square mile reserve provide visitors with various views of the Falls, especially the largest one, Devil's Throat. The mist over the Devil's Throat is such that endless rainbows are formed.Expect to be get wet today and fell exhilarated with the spray and close contact with the sheer power of the falls.

The ecological train ride is included in the tour.

 

Options available: Jet boat ride under the falls at a cost of US$75 is available for purchase on day of visit whilst in the park.

 

Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.

IGUAZU FALLS

Transfer to the airport to board flight to Buenos Aires.

Arrival at the airport. You will be met by our English speaking staff and Transfer to your selected Hotel.
