A tour to the very heart of the Andes. This unforgettable tour departs from Mendoza through the Andes Range to the foot of the Aconcagua . Along the Pan American Highway we pass several summer villages to the Villavicencio Gorge, an area famous for its thermal waters. Then on to Quebrada del Toro, Las Araucarias de Darwin, El Balcon, the Amphitheatre and Los Paramillos to get to Uspallata Village located in the Valley with the same name, an oasis between two mountain ranges in the heart of the Andes. At Puente del Inca there is a natural monument unique in the world: a rock formation that resembles a bridge over Las Cuevas river. From this standpoint, looking to the north, the sight of the Aconcagua is awesome: the highest peak in the Western Hemisphere (6.962 mts). The tour continues along the mountain road surrounded by breathtaking landscapes to get to Las Cuevas Village (3.196 mts above sea level). Up a narrow mountain road the tour gets to the Statue of Christ the Redeemer (4.200 mts above sea level), located in the limit between Argentina and Chile as a proof of friendship between the people of the two countries.
