Day 1: Arrival to Buenos Aires

Your VIP Los Andes & Patagonia package begins with a city tour that takes you through the main streets of Santiago's civic center with its many different architectural styles. You'll pass the neoclassical Moneda Palace, built in the 18th century and current seat of Government; the Plaza de Armas, or main square, with its cathedral and the Central Post Office. Your tour continues to the Parque Forestal, based on Paris' Champs-Elysees and Santa Lucia Hill, where the city of Santiago was founded in 1541. You'll continue to the bohemian area of Bellavista and climb the San Cristobal hill for a panoramic view of Santiago with the Andes mountains in the background.


Day 2: Puerta Varas

Puerto Varas region is in the lake district area, and it is also well known as the northern part of Chilean Patagonia, or the entrance door to Patagonia. This region is decorated by three amazing volcanos, national parks, and almost endless primary forest. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.  The town itself illustrates its German heritage in architecture, gardens and customs, and is worth spending a few hours to stroll through.


Day 3: Bariloche

Andean Lake Crossing from Chile to Argentina - Puerto Varas to Bariloche

We drive from Puerto Varas to Petrohue, bordering Llanquihue Lake. Throughout the journey on route, you will be able to enjoy imposing sights of Osorno and Calbuco Volcanoes. We will enter the Vicente Perez National Park, where you will see the Petrohue falls, impressive volcanic rock shapes, set amongst an esmerald green water covered lake. We then set sail to Peulla, navegating Todos los Santos Lake, and weather permiting you will enjoy the spectacular scenery of Osorno and Puntiagudo Volcanoes and Tronador Hill. We then arrive at Peulla, an ecological Village which is a  paradise for the nature lovers. Here you will have lunch (not included). We will then drive to Puerto Frias. On the way we cross the Chilean Argentine border. We will cross the Andes Mountains at only 976 metres above sea level. From Puuerto Frias, we navigate through Lago Frias to Puerto Alegre, where we drive to Puerto Blest. From Puerto Blest, we take our last navigation through Nahuel Huapi Lake with to Puerto Pañuelo, where we drive to our last destination for the day, San Carlos de Bariloche.

Day 4: Bariloche


Day free to enjoy the stunning natural surroundings and wide range of activities available: horse-riding, kayaking, trekking, spa, rafting & trout fishing.

Afternoon Perito Moreno Glacier Tour

We depart from El Calafate, which borders the southern arm of the Argentine Lake and travel to Los Glaciares National Park. An UNESCO World Heritage site since 1981 and home to one of the most awe inspiring landscapes in Argentina). Our bilingual guide will provide you with important facts and information about the Galcier. From the nearby walking trails and viewing platform you will have the chance to enjoy stunning views of the glacier and see its surface of 192 km2, its front wall of 5 km long and some of its peaks at 80 meters high. By being so close, you will also be able to hear the majestic sounds and movements of the Glacier and bear witness to its advancements as the deep silence is suddenly interrupted by the tremendous noise of massive shards of ice cracking from the Glacier and collapsing into the Canal de los Tempanos (Icebergs Channel).


Day 6: Ushuaia

In the afternoon, after making our way to the tourist pier, we embark on a boat excursion along the famous Beagle Channel. You will gain panoramas of Ushuaia Bay and see the diverse marine wildlife, such as cormorants and fur seals, on De los Lobos and De los Pajaros Islands. On one of the Bridges Isles, you can explore the island for concheros, or giant shells, and enjoy the views of Chile and Argentina.


Day 7: Ushuaia


Full day 4x4 tour in a Land Rover Defender off-road through Tierra del Fuego National Park. Delight in amazing views of Hidden Lake (Lago Escondido) and Lake Fagnano – impressive natural attractions within the Southern Andes range. Your sturdy 4x4 off-road utility vehicle takes you through a stunning Patagonian landscape, where you’ll enjoy a lakeside barbecue lunch paired with Malbec wine.


Day 8: Buenos Aires
